Great turnout, thanks so much! Always enjoy playing this venue, looking forward to coming back in June!

49 West Clusterphobia Diversion

Got a call to fill in for the cancelled 9 Songwriter Series last minute. Thanks so much to my peeps for coming out in the snow, it was a fun night, and got to meet some new folks as well!

Brewer’s Alley 12/7 Show Cancelled

They have started renovations at Brewer’s Alley a week earlier than planned and we got bounced as a result. Plans are to reschedule the show sometime in 2016.

49 West 9 Songwriter Series

It was a great time last night! Thanks to everyone for coming out. Thanks to Eric Scott for sitting in on bass on my brand new tune Pounding Nails in Virginia. He put the funk in! Great sets from all: Justin Trawick, Mike Heuer, Jordan Sokel, Eric Scott, Rachel Joy Pletts, John Lawton, Tom Boynton and Johnny Kling. A special thanks to Jeni Parris Brady of Naptownmusic for taking video – check out their Facebook page.

Buddy Mondlock workshop

It was a real pleasure to meet this long time successful Nashville songwriter with his multitude of writing experience. Learned a lot, met some nice people too!

Brewer’s Alley Showcase

It was great hearing Eric Avey and Victoria Vox! Eric’s flatpicking was superb and his wife’s standup bass was right on time. Victoria mesmerized the audience with stories, singing and ukelele driven melodies. I had a blast as always, such a wonderful room.

John Jennings

Very saddened to hear of John Jenning’s passing today. He was such a central figure in the D.C. music scene for so long. I had the pleasure of opening for him at the old Treaty of Paris in Annapolis at one of Mack Bailey’s shows there. He was a very kind and generous soul and is greatly missed.

Easton Farm Market

Had a blast playing for a wonderful group of people. Beautiful day, got my Rise Up coffee and even some good organic veggies from Charley. Can’t wait to do it again!
