SPCA Dog Days Cruise

It was a real howl! Great people, great dogs, great fun! I love working with these people, they do amazing work for such a good cause.

Electric Maid

What a great opportunity this was to hear Alex Smith and Dylan Rice, on tour supporting their new CD ‘Hamilton County’. Greg Cardinal played earlier and laid down some awesome 12 string guitar licks. It was a real pleasure to perform with these guys. Check ’em out if you get a chance.

Frederick Coffee Co

Great audience, really enjoyed playing this room! I’ve been invited back for a return engagement in August (Saturday, 8/16) and am looking forward to it.

Beans in the Belfry

Great way to welcome in the Summer, good folks, good times. Thanks for listening!

Joe Squared

I was joined by good friends Michael Kerr (bass) and Erin Lewis (piano) last night at Joe Squared. Nice audience, great dinner show by June Star. Love playing Joe Squared! Had a bit of a cold going on but took a friend’s advice and ate a few spoonfuls of garlic smothered in honey. It’s not for the faint of heart! I was inspired to pen the following: “Ate the garlic, sang the songs, I reeked a little, but the gig went on!”

New Show Added Frederick Coffee Co. 7/5

Looking forward to performing at the Frederick Coffee Co., Saturday, July 5, from 8 to 10PM.

Old Town Theatre Show July 15 Cancelled

The theater is closing its doors for all of July quite unexpectedly. I am hoping to reschedule this show at a later date, will keep you posted.

Beans in the Belfry

Wonderful audience last night, thanks for being there!

What a great event, great cause, great people. I was a little tired from the earlier gig, but on a real good vibe when I hit the stage, and the kindness of the volunteers, the warmth of the audience, and the incredible sound that was provided were so energizing that for a moment there “I WAS SOMEBODY!” Thanks to everyone who came, it means everything to have people listen when you’re a songwriter, otherwise what’s the point? Well maybe it adds to some kind of cosmic karma collective but having the opportunity to sing and play for you is so much more fun! Thanks to Jeni Parris Brady from Naptown Music for posting photos and video from the festival, you can find them on Facebook at NAPTOWNMUSIC (https://www.facebook.com/Naptownmusic, naptownmusic.net).

Walk for the Animals

There I was, trying to like, you know, sing … and all these dogs are yapping and barking and carrying on. So I says “Hey, I’m gonna need you dogs to keep it down” and miracle of miracles, they got quiet, for a second, then one dog said something like “arrrooooooo” and so I said “Ah man, I was just kidding, you can make as much noise as you want” and right on cue they all started yapping and barking and carrying on just like before, ‘cept you know, it was different.
